Epson's ColorWorks C831 (GP-C831) is an industrial-strength Micro Piezo inkjet label printer ideal for GHS large-format drum and chemical label prints.
Unlike dot-matrix printers, the versatile C831 advanced barcodes can be used with a variety of paper types, including crisp text and photos, clear and glossy paper and labels. Whatever media is used, Epson's DURABrite Ultra pigmented ink produces prints resistant to water, fading, smearing, and marking pens.
The C831 has a durable construction and is designed to deliver high-volume, high-performance printing for up to five years. Patented Epson technology protects the printhead nozzles from dust, making the C831 suitable for intensive use environments.
To increase productivity, the C831 prints up to 19.7 pages per minute in super draft mode and clears paper jams within seconds with automatic paper release when an error occurs. This is supported by manual paper release by pressing the button.
To facilitate integration, the C831 comes standard with parallel, USB and LAN 100 / 10BASE interfaces.
